Release time: 2022-02-22 14:17:08

Recently, the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) and the National Domain Name Security Alliance released the Analysis Report on the Security Status and Situation of China's Domain Name Service in Beijing on the 21st. The Report shows that the average security index of domestic authoritative servers is 0.39, and 81.7% of domain name authoritative servers are in a poor security state, with great security risks.

Hu, head of the National Domain Name Security Alliance, said that as the first entrance for Internet users to access the Internet, the security of the domain name system is directly related to the entire Internet system. Once the domain name fails, it will lead to complete disconnection.

Domain name service security indicators are divided into three levels from low to high. The Report shows that the average security index of domestic authoritative servers is 0.39, and the security index of 81.7% of domain name authoritative servers is only 0-0.4, indicating that the service security is poor. Relatively speaking, CN key domain names from government agencies, financial institutions, educational institutions, network operators and industries related to the national economy and the people's livelihood are currently in a good security state. Relatively speaking, the authoritative server configuration of CN key domain names is relatively complete, and more than 99% are in a good security state.

Experts also reminded that, in addition to the security problems of the domain name system itself, in the Internet field, external domain name attacks also have the characteristics of a wide range of harm, many means of attack, and difficulties in prevention and response. With the development of the Internet, the task of domain name security in China will become more arduous in the future. Experts suggest that relevant departments, industry associations and enterprises should work together to establish and improve the domain name security system and protect network security.
