1. Advantages
The reason why domain name resolution does not take a long time is that Internet access providers, such as Beijing Telecom and Henan Telecom, usually cache a large number of domain name system records in their server domain name systems to speed up the speed of users opening web pages. In this way, when the user of the access provider wants to open a web page, the server of the access provider does not need to query the domain name database, but directly uses the DNS records in its cache, thus speeding up the user's access to the website. This is an advantage.
2. Disadvantages
The disadvantage is that the cache of the Internet access provider ISP will be saved for a period of time, and will be updated when necessary. The frequency of update is not standardized. Some ISPs may be updated once an hour, and some may be updated once a day or two.
Therefore, newly registered domain names generally resolve faster. Because all ISPs have no cache, when users visit, ISPs should query the domain name database to obtain the latest DNS data.
However, if the DNS record is changed by the old domain name, the global ISP cache data will not be updated immediately. In this way, different users under different ISPs can quickly obtain new DNS records, while other users have to wait for the next update of the ISP cache.
