Upgrade chassis specification and model

When the case specifications and models in the year of package cannot meet your business process requirements, you can apply the year of package to upgrade the case specifications and models. After upgrading the device, you must pay for the remaining time of the current charging cycle.

Applied standards

1. Only applicable to annual package.

2. The actual operation interval between two changes shall not be less than 5 minutes.

3. You only need to upgrade the chassis specification and model (including the number of chassis vCPU cores and memory space), and you cannot upgrade one of them separately.

4. Upgrade the chassis specification and model. Before the new device takes effect, you must restart the chassis on the control panel.

Operation process

1. Log in to Huawei Cloud Control Panel - Virtual Machine Operation Panel first.

2. Go to the case directory of Huawei ECS and click a lot of practical operations - upgrade case specifications and models.

3. Select the chassis specification and model that must be upgraded, and place an order after confirmation.

Note: 1. After payment, the case starts again, and the change of case specification and model takes effect.

2. You can choose to restart immediately after the adaptation takes effect, or plan to restart. (The planned restart time needs to be before the expiration of the network server)

3. After the order is successfully paid, go to the case management method directory and wait for the case to restart and upgrade.

|Upgrade network bandwidth

Operation process

1. Log in to Huawei Cloud Control Panel - Virtual Machine Operation Panel first.

2. Go to the Huawei ECS case directory and click on many practical operations - upgrading network bandwidth.

3. Select the network bandwidth specification to be upgraded, and place an order after confirmation.

4. After the order is successfully paid, the change of the network bandwidth value of the Internet address takes effect immediately, that is, the network bandwidth upgrade.
