Open the storage server, double-click the desktop shortcut icon, or enter the installation directory (default: iVMS-4200iVMS-4200 Storage). Secondly, after the storage server is enabled, we can select a storage server through Device Management - Add Device Type. When the addition is completed, the storage server appears in the server list. After adding a storage server, click Remote Configuration, Storage - commonly select a hard disk drive, click Format, and pre allocate the remaining space of the computer disk. Then we need to select the monitoring point to record in the video scheme in the control panel, check the storage server video, select the alias of the storage server, configure the video template, and click Save to save the video scheme.
Finally, if there are multiple monitoring points that need to record video (at present, a storage server supports up to 64 monitoring points), click Copy To in the upper right corner to copy the video to other monitoring points, the video schedule and the storage server video schedule. The monitoring points that need video are reminded. Confirm to save, and we have finished all the work.
