The system reinstallation operation can restore the instance to its original state. It supports the replacement and reinstallation of different types of systems. You can reinstall the system according to your needs.

Operating procedures for reinstalling the system

1. Log in, official website - login account - enter console - ECS management.

2. Select the ECS to log in and connect to and click [Manage] to enter the ECS management page.

3. Click the Reinstall System button.

4. View the description and click OK.

5. Select the system you want to reinstall.

6. Verify and click [Verify and Submit].

Precautions for reinstalling the system

1. Re installing the system will stop the business in the ECS.
2. After the system is reinstalled, the ECS will enter the "reinstalling" state. After the system is reinstalled, it will automatically enter the "running" state. This process takes about 5 minutes to 15 minutes.
3. Reinstall with Windows system or Linux system, only format the system disk, and the data disk remains unchanged. Windows series and Linux series are interchangeable, and the system disk and data disk will be formatted at the same time.
4. If the instance memory is less than 2G, the Windows sever 2016 system cannot be reinstalled.
5. After reinstalling the system, the system disk needs to be remounted.
