Start Instance

Starting an instance is similar to starting a local machine. The stopped instance can be started.

Operating Steps for Starting an Instance

1. Login, background management → ECS management.

2. Check the closed instance you want to start.

3. Click [Start].

4. Click OK.

Stop Instance

Stopping an instance is similar to shutting down the local machine. Shut down ECS will cause business interruption. Please operate properly.

Steps to stop an instance

1. Login, background management → ECS management.

2. Select the ECS you want to stop and click [Manage] to open the ECS details page.

3. Click [Shutdown].

4. Select the shutdown mode.

• Normal shutdown: ECS will shut down normally running programs, and will not shut down completely until storage and writing are completed.
• Forced shutdown: ECS will be directly shut down. If you need to perform a forced restart, it is recommended that you save the data to prevent data loss.

Precautions for stopping the instance

• Stopping the instance will terminate the business in the ECS.
• The server in the stop starts automatically when you do the following.
1. Start the instance.
2. Adjust configuration and renew.
3. Reinstall the system.
4. Reset password, reset VNC password.
