When your business volume shrinks and the ECS has excessive performance, you can downgrade the ECS through the Console.

The demotion rules are as follows:

1. If the ECS is downgraded, the amount of configuration reduction will not be returned.
2. After the downgrade, ECS renewal is charged according to the downgraded configuration.
3. The ECS disk capacity cannot be degraded.
