Discuz is a general community forum software system, and is one of the forum software systems with the highest maturity and coverage in the world. The infrastructure of Discuz is realized by the combination of Web programming and PHP+MySQL. It is an efficient forum system solution that has been well designed and is suitable for various server environments.

preparation

1. Get the virtual machine FTP information.
2. Open the host database and obtain the database connection information.
3. Download the Discuz installation package.
4. Install the FTP tool locally, which is used to upload the installation package to the virtual machine.

deploy

1. Connect to the virtual machine via FTP
2. Upload the Discuz installation package to the/wwwroot/directory.
3. Log in to the virtual machine control panel, click Compress/Decompress in operation management, and decompress the compressed package to the/wwwroot/directory.
   After the decompression operation is completed, refresh the FTP, and you can see three new folders. The folder contents are as follows. At this time, you can delete the Discuz package to save the storage space of the host.
   
• All files under the upload directory are available program files.
• The readme directory is the description of product introduction, authorization, installation, upgrade, conversion and version update logs.
• The utilities directory is the tools attached to the forum, including the upgrade program and Tools toolbox.

4. Enter the upload directory, select all contents under the directory, and drag them to the next directory (that is,/wwwroot/directory).

5. Access the site through the temporary domain name of the virtual machine, add index.php after the temporary domain name, and the system will automatically jump to the installation interface and operate according to the prompt, as shown in the following figure:

6 . Fill in the database configuration information of Discuz. Relevant information can be viewed on the database management page of the virtual machine. Configure the user name and password of the Discuz administrator.

7. After installation, you can jump to the homepage of the forum through the link at the lower right corner. If the jump fails, you can access the homepage of the forum through "temporary domain name+forum. php".
