  10. How many devices can be placed in a whole cabinet?
Answer: It depends on two factors: space and current
    • Space: based on the 42U total available space of the cabinet, at least 1U of heat dissipation and maintenance space is reserved between each device, and the space occupied by the device carrier board is about 0.2U, so:
If the average space occupied by a 1U device is 2.2U, a maximum of 18 devices (1 switch+17 1U servers) can be placed.
If the average space occupied by a 2U device is 3.2U, a maximum of 13 devices (1 switch+12 2U servers) can be placed.
The analogy of equipment of other sizes is as follows: if the size of the equipment itself is+1.2U, it is the total occupied space of a single equipment.
    • Current: If the total current exceeds the standard, but there is still room, you cannot continue to add new products on the shelf at this time.
