When your business volume shrinks and the cloud database has excessive performance, you can downgrade the cloud database on the Console.

The demotion rules are as follows:

1. The amount of configuration reduction will not be returned if the cloud database is downgraded.
2. After the downgrade, the cloud database renewal is charged according to the downgrade configuration.
3. The cloud database disk capacity cannot be downgraded.
